Viera Loan to UD Las Palmas

Beijing Sinobo Guoan FC have agreed with the Spanish club UD Las Palmas to loan our player Jonathan Viera back to his former club until 31 December 2019.

Viera suffered from a rib fraction in previous CSL match. The medical team speculated that his recovery would take 10-12 weeks and therefore absent him from most of the games left in the season. The club therefore decided to temporarily remove him from the first team squad during the mid-season transfer window. The loan is intended to make sure Viera receive high quality rehabilitation trainings as well as competitive matches in the Spanish League to keep his fitness and form.

The club's medical team conducted a second medical check with Veira last week and concluded that he would need another 4-5 weeks before returning to action. Beijing FC and UD Las Palmas are both liable in deciding the time for Viera to participate in competitive training sessions and matches.

After the loan ends on 31 December 2019, Viera will return to Beijing and join our first time in the 2020 pre-season.
